December is always a fun month. This year we had Payton's play at school. She was a sheep and the school requested that we make her costume. So I got the great idea that I would take a white hooded sweatshirt, cut off the sleeves and glue a bunch of cotton balls on it. The plan went well until I ran out of glue. So I went to Michaels and got some extra heavy duty craft glue to finish placing the cotton balls (400 when all said and done). The glue I got was so stinky! I thought for sure the smell would go away after a day or two, but no, the smell was just as noxious after 2 days airing in the garage with multiple febreze applications. I was slightly afraid that PJ was going to pass out during the play from the fumes she was inhaling. Needless to say, that costume was trashed after the 4 minute performance. I give myself a B+ for effort on that one.
Ryan and his good friend Dave Jones went hunting in Othello at the beginning of December. They were hunting birds... not sure what kind. I am sure he could fill in the blanks for you all on that.
Christmas Eve we went back down to Corey's house. We were just hoping that no one had to make a trip to the ER this time. It was super fun and uneventful which was great. Colt and PJ both were stoked about Christmas this year. It was so cute to see the excitement on their little faces.
Christmas day we opened gifts at our house and Christmas night Bob and Peg (Nonni and Papa) came over for dinner. It was the perfect end to an awesome Christmas.
